“If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all
that Acme crap, why didn’t he just buy dinner?” - anonymous

We, like Wile E., are also addicted to our habits, to the chase, to excitement, to challenge, to the drama in our lives, to telling our stories. Stories about why we are not where we want to be, why we are not more successful, why we are not more happy, why we are not more wealthy, why we don’t have enough time, why we are unhealthy.

We are addicted to or attached emotionally and energetically to things we think will make us happy. Yet these attachments are really the things standing between us, and what we really do want. Our habits are an attachment or addiction to doing things the same way over and over even though they do not work. This is what is truly keeping us from what we really want and need - peace, ease, joy, contentment - or in Wile E.’s case
